The benefits of taking part in this event include the development of your research skills, a vital part of law, as well as your ability to form a well-reasoned and balanced argument based upon the law, which will benefit you in all aspects of law, from the courtroom to advocacy.
Enter for your chance to win a unique work experience with the Thomas More Law School Dean Patrick Keyzer on preparing an application to the United Nations Human Rights Committee. The aim is that this work to be undertaken will be capable of being approved for pro bono placement purposes.
First and second place will win this experience on an application to the UN Human Rights Committee. First place will also win a $100 gift card!
Entries will also be compiled into a journal, so that you can look back on your hard work, show your participation to potential employers, and have something to show off!
Participation is strongly recommended, especially for academically minded students. Registrations will be open from Monday, March 1 to Friday, May 7, with submission entry closing on Friday May 21.
Please note that all competitors are required to fill in the following form regarding publishing. If you change your mind regarding publishing prior to May 21 please email the competitions team as lssmelb.competitions@myacu.edu.au
