The Graham Thomas QC Championship Moot is the most popular internal competition on offer for ACU law students, providing the opportunity to challenge yourself, compete against peers and develop vital skills which will aid you in your degree and future legal career.
Students will compete in teams of two in a mock trial against competing teams whilst being assessed by a panel of legal professionals.
The competition will be held over four weeks, commencing Thursday 24th March (Week 4), culminating in the Grand Final on Friday 29th April (Week 8).
Round 1: Thursday 24th March and Friday 25th March from 6.00pm - 8.00pm
Round 2: Thursday 31st March and Friday 1st April from 6.00pm - 8.00pm
Semi-Finals: Friday 8th April from 6.00pm - 8.00pm
Grand Final: Friday 29th April from 6.00pm
Registration will open on Tuesday 1st March at 10.00am, and strictly close Friday 18th March at 5.00pm.
All ACU law students are eligible and invited to compete. Students can register as an individual, or with a partner.
A Moot Workshop will be held online on Thursday 17th March from 7.00pm - 8.30pm to provide an insight into mooting and answer any queries. SPLSS encourages all that may be interested in the Graham Thomas QC Championship Moot to attend.
