Target audience: All commencing HDR candidates.

In this session, we will introduce some of the key avenues of support for HDR candidates.

The Academic Literacy Advisor will discuss the various services on offer, including writing groups, facilitated writing support, one-on-one services and recommended resources.

Our Library staff will discuss the services available to HDR candidates throughout your research journey, including how to search effectively for the right literature, how to obtain resources the Library does not hold, creating a Data Management Plan, setting up and maintaining your online Researcher Profile, developing a strategic publishing plan (including how to avoid predatory publishers) – and who to go to for help.

Our Assistive Technology staff will introduce some useful tools and strategies that all HDR candidates can use for research such as transcription, translation and more.
