HDR Orientation: Research Ethics and Integrity

Target audience: All commencing HDR candidates.

In this session, we will explore the policies and expectations of the University in relation to research ethics and integrity. We will discuss the specifics of the ethics approval process, as well as more general information about how HDR candidates are expected to conduct themselves when carrying out research that has implications for participants and the broader community.

There will also be a short discussion about academic freedom and foreign influence in the university sector.

The Library will discuss other integrity matters such as plagiarism, referencing, issues around writing.
