Details
Dashain/Dusshera/Bada-dashain (also referred as Vjaya Dashami), is a major festival in Nepal and India which is also celebrated in some parts of Bhutan and Myanmar.
This festival is a celebration of victory of good over evil. Different folklores are associated to this celebration such as Lord Rama defeating Ravana on this day, Goddess Durga claiming victory over ominous Mahishasura.
In recognition of WSU Diversity Week, WSU Parramatta City Provost, in collaboration with Western Sydney University International College, would like to invite you to be a part of this event.
There will be lots of fun activities - dance performances, a fashion show, lunch and more!

Date: Tuesday, 27th September 2022
Time: 12 PM - 2 PM (activities from noon & lunch from 1pm)
Location: Level 6, Engineering Innovation Hub (6 Hassall Street), Parramatta
You are also invited to wear your cultural clothes if you would like!
